Wells and Area Trail Society
WATS (Wells and Area Trails Society) is a non-profit, volunteer-run society that works to develop, maintain and improve the non-motorized trails in the Wells, BC area. WATS encourages all forms of non-motorized recreation including hiking, biking, skiing and snowshoeing, with no trail fees!
Gourmet Ski
The Wells International Gourmet Ski has been the main fundraiser for WATS for many years. Participants get to experience a few of the things that make Wells great: the skiing, the company, the gorgeous natural setting, and the delicious food produced in our humble kitchens!
Ski as much or as little as you would like, eat fantastic International cuisine at four food stations along the way, and join us in Wells for hot drinks and desserts at the finale. Plan to stay for the evening and join us at the Sunset Theatre for our popular Winter Film Fest.
Martin's Pass Cabin
The Martin Pass cabin was recently established by the Wells Barkerville Community Forest (WBCF) and is situated on the Wells and Area Trails Society’s (WATS) trail network. In order to book this cabin at least one person in a group must be a current member of WATS.
The cabin is a joint partnership between the WBCF, WATS, and the Wells Destination School Society (WDSS). We ask for a $10 per person per night donation for use of the cabin. All proceeds will go towards the Wells Destination School Society.
